Scottish Dancing Club
Tuesday club nights
Tuesday nights are social club nights, which include some teaching of steps, formations and technique. We walk through the dances if required, so that everyone knows what to do when we dance to the music. We take a break from dancing for a cup of tea and a chat.

We are lucky to have enthusiastic teachers who take the classes and lead us through the social dancing, making sure we understand the formations and dances. Occasionally we have guest teachers from other clubs.
We have a dance of the month and during classes we practice the formation associated with that dance. The dances are likely to come up on the Highland Ball and Tea Dance programmes.

We also run some events for dancers from other clubs to attend. We usually run a Highland Ball in January, a Burns Supper around Burns Night (late January), and a Sunday afternoon tea dance in May. The Ball and the Tea Dance have a live Scottish band playing for the dancing.
